We have developed a series of check-sheets that are used to ensure all jobs run smoothly and that the quality of the workmanship is always kept in check. Combining these check-sheets with great planning, scheduling and constant communication with sub-trades and clients, Third Little Pig is committed to making your build run smoothly and without hassles. Simon has completed jobs in out of the way places such as Chatham Islands, Able Tasman National Park, Castle Hill Village and the back blocks of the Mackenzie District. Without great preparation and planning (you can't just pop to the local Mitre 10 to get the screws you forgot!), these jobs would not have run smoothly.
BETTER COST ESTIMATION
Time and time again clients come to us with plans drawn up and ready to build, only to find that the cost of the project is well above what they have budgeted. At Third Little Pig, we like to do things differently. By working with you right from the start of the design phase, we can help ensure the project fits the budget. Once concept plans have been drawn, we provide a preliminary budget. The designer will only proceed with working drawings once the design and budget are aligned. Once the final budget is set, it is continually tracked via our online project management system throughout the life of the project.
BETTER BUILDING
The New Zealand Building Code sets out minimum standards for residential buildings. These minimums are just that - minimums.

We work with designers who are also passionate about building better homes. We work alongside the designer to ensure your plans not only fulfil your dreams but are within your budget from the outset. Third Little Pig have designers that we work with on a regular basis. We can help match you with the right designer for your build style. Alternatively, we are happy to work with a designer of your choice.
BETTER COMMUNICATION
We understand that communication is critical to ensuring that you have the most enjoyable, stress free build process possible. We work hard to make sure that we interpret your wishes effectively and provide you with constant feedback. We do this with the help of our very own specifically modified management software that is designed to suit your exact build. This software ensures that all communication from our end to yours is done on time and in a concise manner giving you enough room to make decisions on any variations that might pop up un-expectedly.
